Freeport, TX

Texas Operations, located in Freeport, Texas, is the largest integrated chemical complex in the Western Hemisphere. Founded in 1940, Texas Operations was home to the world’s first-ever plant to mine the ocean for magnesium.

With an industrial park design, Texas Operations is comprised of four uniquely demarcated operating areas, covers 20 square miles and boasts eight on-premises tenants. The site contains more than 3,200 acres of waterways and pipeline corridors, 4,700 acres of reservoir operations and 9,500 acres used for grazing.

The products manufactured on site are transported by rail, truck, marine vessels and pipeline to customers around the world. The site contains two modern co-generation power/steam plants along with an environmental operations unit capable of treating a variety of water effluent streams, solid/liquid incineration, and thermal treatment of gaseous vents. Our mid-stream assets also serve the site with pipelined natural gas, ethane, propane, ethylene and propylene.

Products made at Texas Operations end up in thousands of household, business and consumer products that improve everyday life, including plastics, insecticides, films and fabrics, antifreeze, jet fuel, brake fluid, paints and adhesives, textiles, lubricants, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, personal care products, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, cleaning agents, detergents, fabric softeners, animal feed supplements, and more.

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions proudly employs 350 employees at Texas Operations. These team members deliver essential services which enable the chemical manufacturing plants to operate safely, reliably and efficiently, ultimately contributing to their overall success.
