Louisiana Operations, developed in 1956, is one of the largest petrochemical facilities in Louisiana, pumping over $1 billion into the state’s economy each year. The integrated manufacturing facility near Plaquemine, along with brine operations and salt cavern storage in Grand Bayou, comprise the largest employer in Iberville and West Baton Rouge Parishes and plays an active role in the surrounding communities.

Home to two of Diamond Infrastructure Solution’s largest customers, Dow and Olin, Louisiana Operations has 23 production units manufacturing more than 50 different intermediate and specialty chemical products that are used to produce cosmetics, detergents, solvents, pharmaceuticals, adhesives, plastics for a variety of packaging, automotive parts, electronics components, and more.

With an industrial park design, Louisiana Operations has multiple tenant companies who benefit from convenient transportation options, including marine, rail, truck, and pipelines. The site has two modern co-generation power/steam plant with surplus steam and power, along with an environmental operations unit to treat water effluent and provide various water quality streams for cooling and even chemistries requiring ultra-high purity water.
