Diamond's Gulf Coast Pipeline operates more than 3,000 miles of cross country pipeline along the U.S. Gulf Coast, stretching from Kingsville, Texas, to New Orleans, Louisiana. The system plays a critical role in transporting energy products that support regional industry and infrastructure.
Pipeline operations are monitored 24 hours a day from Diamond Infrastructure Solutions’ Product Control Center in Houston, Texas. Monitoring activities include aerial surveillance and ground patrols to help identify potential risks, as well as construction and excavation activity occurring near the pipeline right of way.
Our pipeline system transports both liquid and gaseous products. The majority of these products are hydrocarbons, which are combustible if released and exposed to an ignition source. Products transported through the system include butane, natural gas (methane), ethylene, propylene, propane, and ethane propane blends. These materials are managed in accordance with established safety and operating practices designed to protect people, property, and the environment.
